En Córdoba, sólo el 15% de los cargos ejecutivos son ocupados por mujeres

El 30 de octubre de 1983 el pueblo argentino recuperó para siempre el derecho de elegir a sus autoridades.
Aquella vez, el recuento de los votos consagró como Presidente de la Nación a Raúl Alfonsín y en Córdoba cantaron victoria el ungido gobernador Eduardo Angeloz y 239 intendentes y presidentes comunales.
El festejo del radicalismo se extendió hasta San Carlos Minas, donde Beatriz Elisabet Arias se adjudicó los comicios y se convirtió en la única mujer electa para un cargo ejecutivo en la provincia.
Treinta y ocho años más tarde, el mapa del liderazgo político en territorio cordobés no es mucho más alentador en materia de igualdad: de 426 pueblos y ciudades sólo 65 tienen como máxima autoridad a una mujer.
Si bien supera ampliamente a aquel 0,4% de presencia femenina en puestos decisorios de 1983, el actual 15% está lejos de alinearse con los términos de la Ley 27.412, que fue sancionada en 2017 y establece la paridad de género en ámbitos de representación política.
“Este avance en materia jurídica no se cristalizó en una participación efectiva en los diferentes espacios de decisión en el poder”, reflexiona la politóloga Paola Zuban.
“Muchísimos obstáculos”
“En nuestras sociedades capitalistas, occidentales, liberales, y consecuentemente en la construcción de las democracias latinoamericanas, está profundamente arraigada una noción de exclusión y hasta de prescindencia de la mujer en el ámbito político”, señala la presidenta de la consultora Zuban-Cordoba y asociados.
“Históricamente se nos designó un espacio puertas adentro, donde somos la reina, la dueña o la patrona, y hemos sido relegadas, y hasta expulsadas, de la vida pública”, puntualiza.
“La política sigue siendo un lugar reservado para varones”, afirma Zuban. Y explica el concepto: “Aunque ya no hay impedimentos formales, los obstáculos siguen siendo muchísimos. Los partidos políticos, lejos de allanar el camino para que realmente haya igualdad de condiciones, continúan haciendo trampas. Ellos tienen una gran deuda con las mujeres”.
